Quote:
Falowiec (in local language means "wavy block") was built in Gdansk, Poland, exactly in Obrońców Wybrzeża Street (Przymorze) in the 1960-1970 year. Falowiec is a residential apartment which has a length of 860 meters, height of 11 floors, occupied by nearly 7,000 people, and an "apartment with a flat design of the longest in the World."

Falowiec designed by architect Tadeusz Różański, Danuta Olędzka and Janusz Morek, which is actually in the 1960's destined for the newcomers in the city of Gdansk. Gdansk Government was overwhelmed newcomers (due to Polish War - Germany), but the government has little land extends along the river flow. Finally, on land that extends the built shelters that extends also to accommodate the number of immigrants in the city of Gdansk - Poland

Currently, the city of Gdańsk is an important port city in Poland and is also an important industrial center, so not surprisingly, this Falowiec apartment plan will also be extended.
